Whether you THINK you have to produce content three times a week, or whether you WANT to produce content three times a week, some of us struggle to actually sit down and do it. This goes for both writers and bloggers.
By the way, unless you’re an online magazine, you don’t have to produce content three times a week, in which case, you’d better be producing A LOT more than that.
If you have the material and the desire to write more, but you’re struggling with the actual DOING of the writing or the blogging, maybe you need a kickstart to the discipline of writing. Maybe you need to find a group of like-minded people to meet with to inspire you to produce words.
Maybe you need to just shut up and write already.
Luckily, there’s a group here in Sacramento for that.
Two of your fellow bloggers (Cinamon of No Hurry to Get Home and Janna of Janna Maron) are co-organizers of this group. They meet once or twice a week on varying days at a central location and sit down for one hour together and write. No talking; just focused writing.
Both bloggers and writers are welcome and if you want to learn more and see where the next meeting will be held, check out the Shut Up & Write! Meetup Page.
